高齢化社会×国際協力活動
高齢者は次第にできることが減ったり、人との接点が減少する中で生活への意欲減退が進みがちです。
しかし、リハビリが必要な状態になったとしても出来ることは様々あります。
ネパールの赤ちゃんのための祝い品作りでは、難易度が多様な様々な活動を提供し、誰もが海を越えて誰かの役に立つ社会奉仕活動・国際協力活動に参加する場を設けます。
これにより地域から孤立することなく、お互いの文化の違いを楽しみながら、生涯、自己貢献感を持って楽しく生きられる社会の創出を図っていきたいと考えています。
As you may know, Japan is called as the ageing society.
Older people tend to be less motivated in life as they are gradually able to do less and have fewer contact with other people. However, we believe that there are various things they can do even if they are in need of rehabilitation.
We are making celebratory goods for babies in Nepal alongside with eldery people, to provide a variety of activities of varying difficulty and give the opportunity to participate in social service and international cooperation activities that are useful to others who are an ocean apart.
Through this activity, we hope to create a society where people can enjoy each other's cultural differences without being isolated from the community and live happy with a sense of personal contribution for the rest of their lives.
その問題を解決するためのアイデアやアプローチ方法
「市民と市民」の協力・交流活動を「民際」と呼び、ネパール・ポカラ市とつながり様々な活動をしています。
援助するのではなく、支え合い、必要とされ、喜んでもらえる流れの循環を目指しています。
毛糸の帽子や、産後の下着、着物の布でつくる飾りなどを、ポカラで生まれる赤ちゃん（母子）にプレゼントする活動は、子どもからシニア層まで多世代で取り組んでいますが、メインはシニア層の方々です。
赤ちゃんの頭を冷やさないようにニット帽をかぶらせる習慣からはじまったこの活動が、駒ヶ根市や周辺地域の人々の自己肯定感や貢献感を高めています。
役割をもって生き生きと活動に取り組む人々が増えることにより、地域の活性化が進んでいます。
We call the cooperation and exchange activities between citizens as "Min-Sai"(民際) and are working together with city of Pokhara in Nepal through a variety of activities.
Our aim is not to provide direct finantial support in one way, but to co-creaate a cyle of support with joy. Activities to present woollen hats, post-natal underwear, and decorations made from kimono cloth to babies (mothers and children) born in Pokhara are undertaken by many generations, from children to senior citizens, but mainly by senior citizens.
This activity, which started with the custom of making babies wear knitted hats to keep their heads warm, has increased the sense of self-affirmation and contribution of people in Komagane City and the surrounding areas. As more and more people engage in lively activities with a role to play, the community is being revitalized.
プロジェクトを進行している上で直面している課題や困難
課題は資金面です。
コロナ禍でメンバーの渡航時に運ぶことができなくなっており、量も増えて国際宅配便を利用しています。
全員ボランティアで動いていますが、熱い思いだけでは持続可能と言えない状況もあり、「もっと作りたい」「もっと紹介したい施設がある」とう声にも対応できずにいます。
ネパール側でも、お母さんたちにお渡しし、集めた喜びの声を日本の作り手に還元するために動いているスタッフも、手当がゼロとはいかない状況で、市民団体である当会では常に頭を悩ませています。
私たちのもつネットワークと行動力と思いに共感してくださる方々の思いがコラボして、さらに幸せが循環していくような関係を築ける機会を模索しています。
The challenge is financial. Due to the covid pandemic, it gets hard to carry products by transport and we also use an international courier service due to the increased volume.
We are all working as volunteers, but there are situations where the passion alone is not sustainable. It is also a pity that we are unable to respond to the feedback of those who wants to make more or have more facilities to introduce to us.
On the Nepalese side, we are struggling to manage the fee for the working staff to give goods to the mothers and collect joyful feedback to the makers. This is a constant trouble for our association as a civil society organization.
We are looking for opportunities to build relationships where the network and energy we have and the thoughts of those who share our same vision can collaborate and further circulate the happiness.
